When we arrived, at the way to the hides, we saw Chiffchafs, other passerine birds and some Little Grebes.
Once at the hide I took my mum's camera and started taking pictures of the birds.
There were good numbers of ducks, with Mallard, Gadwall, Wigeon, Shelduck, Pintail and some other species.
This day the usual wintering Marsh Harriers showed very good (fighting with Common Buzzard).
As I was looking through the scope, suddendly I heard a lot of camera noise, it were some photographers taking pictures of a bird near the hide, I went to see the bird and...Surprise! A lifer, my first ever Water Rail, which showed excelent.
After that we had some really nice views of little and Black-Necked Grebe, Shoveler, Teal greylag Goose(2)Crested Grebe and some other birds.
As it was starting to be late, we had to go home.
Here some other pics'.

Hi Nicolas,
ResponderEliminarIt's Joseph N from Birdforum here. I have just come across your blog and I must say that I really like it so far - I can see this shaping up to be a top quality blog. You have some lovely images there, and I can't wait to hear more about your birding adventures. It's always brilliant to hear about what birding is like abroad!
I've also got a blog of my own, and I thought I'd link it to you to see what you think. If you like it, then I'd really appreciate it if you followed it. I am now following your blog. Thanks very much if you do that, and well done on a great blog.
Joseph
